Event Details

The Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), in celebration of its Silver Jubilee and in association with Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, is organizing a hands-on workshop on “Role of Bioinformatics in In Silico Drug Design and Formulation Optimization.” The workshop aims to provide practical exposure to computational approaches in drug discovery and formulation research. It will be held on 27th February (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) and 28th February (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM), with the inauguration at Sandhya Hall, Admin Block, and workshop sessions at the Computer Lab (A-127). The programme will feature Dr. Gollapalli Pavan, Assistant Professor, Department of Bioinformatics and Biostatistics, NUCSER, Nitte (Deemed to be University), as the resource person. The registration fee is ₹250, certificates will be provided to participants, and the number of participants is limited to 70.
